Job summary

Sodexo at EAST TEXAS A&M University is seeking a Concessions Cashier to support high-volume, event-based concessions with fast, accurate guest transactions in concession locations.

You will work during peak events, manage cash and payment devices, stock concessions, and keep stations clean, in live-event settings with fluctuating demand.

Prior retail or customer service experience preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent, and alcohol training may be required depending on location.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to sell alcohol based on state and/or local regulations.
• Prior concessions, retail, or customer service experience preferred.
• TIPS or TEAM alcohol training or equivalent.
• Food handler certification may be required based on location.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper handling and security of cash, payment devices, and transaction systems when applicable.
• Assist with stocking, replenishment, and product rotation within concession areas as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of cashier stations, kiosks, and autonomous store areas.
• Ability to frequently lift and move up to 35 pounds and occasionally up to 40 pounds.
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
• Other duties may be assigned and can differ among accounts, depending on business necessities and client requirements.
