Job summary

ServiceMaster Services is hiring Event Cleaners for Downtown Richmond, VA venues. No experience is required; we provide training. The role features part-time/on-call shifts, with 4-hour blocks and a schedule that aligns with event calendars.

Pay is $18 per hour, with shifts 1–3 per week, mornings, evenings, or overnight. You will prep spaces before events, keep facilities clean during events, and handle post-event turnover and waste management.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 20 lbs for a full shift.
• Available for some nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Works well on a crew and takes direction from a supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Before and during the event: keep restrooms stocked, clean, and presentable; clear trash from concourses, seating areas, and common spaces; wipe down high-touch surfaces; respond quickly to spills and urgent requests; stay in contact with the event manager for fast handling.
• After the event: break down and clear the venue; deep-clean restrooms; return space to turnover-ready condition; collect and sort waste and recycling; operate vacuums, mops, brooms, and other equipment safely.
