Job summary

Sesame Place in Chula Vista is seeking part-time Ambassadors for our food service team. You will coordinate production of menu items for special events, adjust quantities to match park attendance, and provide high-energy, friendly service to guests.

You will assist in leading daily operations during events when managers are not present, read menus to estimate needs, oversee deliveries, and ensure quality through tasting and plating. This role requires availability on weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate production of menu items for special events.
• Adjust food quantity to accommodate park guest attendance.
• Represent the company with a positive attitude and energy.
• Lead the team in daily operations and events when management is absent.
• Read menu to estimate food requirements and order from supplier or storage.
• Oversee delivery of food to event sites.
• Measure and mix ingredients to prepare quantities for events.
• Bake, roast, broil and steam foods and add seasonings.
