Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Changeover Lead Worker for the Operations department. The role leads Changeover Laborers during setup, teardown, and cleanup of equipment for client events, coordinating with clients, event staff, supervisors, and management to meet timelines.

We value effective communication, safety compliance (OSHA), and strong supervisory and customer service skills. The position requires flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with on-site work at event venues.

Qualifications

• At least one year of changeover laborer experience in a similar environment.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Knowledge of theatrical production rigging, power distribution, and A/V systems is preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts, boom lifts, and aerial work platforms is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees setup and teardown activities to fit within timelines and resources determined by the Conversion Manager.
• Assigns work duties and supervises the daily work of Changeover Laborers during event setup and teardown.
• Prepares records of equipment, changeover labor, and labor used for events.
• Interprets event floorplans, layouts, timelines and equipment order forms.
• Ensures equipment and materials are returned to storage after events.
• Ensures OSHA compliance with setup, teardown, and cleanup activities.
• Suggests improvements to production methods and equipment performance.
