Legends Global is seeking a Changeover Lead Worker for the Operations department. The role leads Changeover Laborers during setup, teardown, and cleanup of equipment for client events, coordinating with clients, event staff, supervisors, and management to meet timelines.
We value effective communication, safety compliance (OSHA), and strong supervisory and customer service skills. The position requires flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, with on-site work at event venues.
Position: Changeover Lead Worker Department: Operations Reports To: Conversion Manager FLSA Status: Part-Time Hourly Overview This position leads the activities of Changeover Laborers during setup, teardown, and cleanup of equipment for client events. This position requires effective communication and interaction with clients, event supervisors, facility senior management, event staff, and the general public.
Oversees setup and teardown activities to fit within timelines and resources determined by Conversion Manager. Assigns work duties and supervises the daily work or a small group of Changeover Laborers during event setup and teardown. Ensures that all job assignments made to the work group are satisfactorily completed in reasonable time. Prepares accurate records of equipment, changeover labor, and setup/teardown labor used for events. Interprets event floorplans, layouts, timelines and equipment order forms. Ensures that equipment is set up as described in event layouts and according to event timelines. Assists Conversion Manager in documenting equipment used, labor required, and actual floorplans used during the course of an event. Ensures that equipment and materials are returned to storage and stored properly at the conclusion of an event. Ensures OSHA compliance with all setup, teardown, and cleanup activities. Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of products. Suggests changes in working conditions or procedures to increase efficiency of work crews. Analyzes and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problems. Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve goals. Performs activities of workers supervised. Performs other duties as assigned. This position requires effective communication and interaction with clients, event managers, facility senior management, line-level event staff, and the general public.

Must have reliable transportation and the ability to report to work on time for early, late, weekend, or holiday shifts.
At least one year work experience as a changeover laborer in a similar environment. Previous supervisory experience is preferred. Basic knowledge of theatrical production rigging practices is preferred. Basic knowledge of power distribution methods in a tradeshow environment is preferred. Basic knowledge of A/V systems is preferred. Experience operating forklifts, boom lifts, and aerial work platforms is preferred.
