Job summary

Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI is seeking staff to assist in front of house operations for campus catering events. Responsibilities include bartending, organizing event execution, and aiding in event breakdown with the FOH team.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in culinary, food service, hospitality or related field preferred.
• Must maintain an approved alcohol certification (TIPS/STOP).
• Valid U.S. driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in bartending duties at campus events.
• Lead execution and breakdown of events with FOH team.
• Coordinate with department to maintain event flow and sanitation standards.
• Load/unload catering vehicles for campus events as needed.
• Ensure proper food safety standards and BEO adherence.
• Assist with seating plans and event orders per request.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
