Job summary

Quest Food Management Services Llc is seeking a reliable Catering Attendant at Judson University in Elgin, IL. This full-time, hourly position supports catering events, helps manage service teams, and ensures food safety and guest satisfaction.

The role involves assisting with event setup, food and beverage presentation, and maintaining clean dining and service areas. Flexibility for evenings and weekends is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist in all catering events including Monday-Friday school catering as well as Saturday and Sunday events, as needed.
• On full-service event days, assist the Catering Director with key responsibilities including, but not limited to: managing the service team, checking in temp workers, filling out time sheets, and ensuring timelines.
• Assist with the preparation and presentation of food and beverages.
• Set up and clear down catering areas before and after service.
• Serve food and drinks to customers in a polite and professional manner.
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen, service, and dining areas.
• Loading/unloading catering equipment from storage areas.
• Maintain storage areas.
• Follow food safety and hygiene standards.
• Be involved in catering event logistics meetings and provide input on how to best serve our client.
