Trademark Venues LLC in Vista, CA is seeking a Catering Associate to join our event teams. You will provide exceptional food and beverage service to wedding and event guests, assist with setup and breakdown, and help ensure every detail is executed perfectly.

This fast-paced role requires reliable, professional service for evenings, weekends and holidays, with opportunities to grow in hospitality leadership across North San Diego County.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in catering, banquet service, restaurants, hotels, or hospitality.
• Experience working weddings, private events, or high-volume service environments preferred.
• Food Handler Certification preferred (or ability to obtain upon hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional food and beverage service to wedding and event guests
• Assist with event setup, including tables, chairs, linens, décor, food stations, and service areas
• Serve plated meals, buffet service, appetizers, beverages, and other event offerings
• Maintain clean, organized, and guest-ready dining and service areas throughout events
• Buss tables and reset guest spaces during and after events
• Support event breakdown and ensure all items are properly cleaned, stored, and returned
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service standards
• Communicate professionally with guests, clients, vendors, and team members
• Work collaboratively with Event Managers and venue leadership to ensure smooth event execution
• Anticipate guest needs and provide thoughtful, proactive service
• Complete other duties as assigned
