Best Impressions Inc. is seeking a Catering Bartender/Server for event-based, part-time work across weddings and corporate events. You will set up bars, serve beverages, assist with breakdown, and ensure guest satisfaction with professional service.

The role requires 21+ years old, a current TIPS certification, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments while maintaining high hospitality standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Current TIPS Certification required.
• Previous bartending, serving, catering, hospitality, or restaurant experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of standard drink recipes, spirits, wine, and beer.
• Working knowledge of bar equipment and beverage service procedures.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Professional appearance and positive attitude.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and Saturdays.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
• Ability to frequently bend, reach, lift, and carry items up to 30 pounds.
• Reliable transportation and clean driving record preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with event setup and breakdown of tables, linens, chairs, décor, buffets, bars, and event equipment.
• Set up and break down temporary bar stations according to event specifications.
• Ensure all event spaces are clean, organized, and guest-ready.
• Assist with loading, unloading, and organizing event supplies and equipment as needed.
• Greet guests and provide beverage service, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.
• Mix and garnish cocktails following company standards; make recommendations to guests.
• Verify guest identification and ensure compliance with alcohol service regulations.
• Monitor guest consumption and notify management of concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar areas, equipment, and glassware.
• Inventory beer, wine, liquor, and bar supplies before and after events.
• Process beverage orders and payments according to venue requirements where applicable.
• Provide prompt, courteous, and professional food and beverage service.
• Replenish buffets, stations, and beverage areas; pass hors d’oeuvres and beverages.
• Communicate dietary restrictions and special requests to the team.
• Assist with bussing, clearing tables, and maintaining event cleanliness.
• Support front-of-house, back-of-house, and side work duties for smooth operations.
• Maintain clear communication with event managers and team members during events.
• Remain professional, solution-oriented in fast-paced environments.
