Job summary

PRO EM Party and Event Rentals in Phoenix, AZ is hiring FULL-TIME Non-CDL Boxtruck Drivers. You will perform vehicle maintenance, load and unload event gear, and help set up tents, stages, and fencing for events. The role requires driving 26’ box trucks, pulling trailers, and lifting up to 50 lbs.

Applicants should have a valid Class C license, a clean driving record (39 months), and at least one year of large-truck experience. Flexible scheduling including nights and weekends is required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class C driver's license.
• Clean driving record (at least 39 months).
• One year of experience driving large trucks.
• Ability to drive 26’ box trucks and pull trailers.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends.
• Construction experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform simple vehicle maintenance.
• Keep supervisor informed of any vehicle problems.
• Keep assigned vehicles clean inside and outside.
• Loading and unloading event equipment.
• Assist with the set-up and installation of all equipment and products required for special events.
• Reading and interpreting maps and driving directions to plan the most efficient routes.
• Assist crew leads as needed.
• Setup tents, tables, chairs, and stages as directed by the Project Manager.
• Construct temporary fencing & place road barricades.
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
