Construction Driver & Event Setup Specialist (CDL-A a Plus)

Job summary

PRO EM National Event Services is seeking a driver to support heavy construction event sites in Phoenix. You will perform physical labor, operate trucks and assist with equipment setup and site preparation.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading gear, setting up tents and stages, reading maps for routes, and maintaining a clean vehicle. A CDL A is preferred, with a clean driving record and 1 year of truck experience; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A preferred.
• Clean driving record.
• At least 1 year of experience driving large trucks.
• Ability to operate 24' box trucks and pull trailers.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs.
• Flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Construction experience is a plus.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks involving physical labor at job sites and heavy construction projects.
• Operate hand and power tools as required.
• Clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces and erect scaffolding.
• Load and unload event equipment; assist with set-up and installation.
• Read maps and driving directions to plan efficient routes.
• Assist crew leads and project managers as needed.
• Set up tents, tables, chairs and stages per directions.
• Construct temporary fencing and place road barricades.
• Maintain alertness and work safely at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
