Job summary

The Warrior Hotel is seeking a dedicated Banquet/Catering Bartender to deliver top-notch beverage service for weddings, corporate events, and other catered functions. This role requires quick, accurate preparation of a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks in a fast-paced setting.

You'll work closely with catering and banquet teams to ensure seamless service, maintain compliance with alcohol regulations, and uphold the hotel’s commitment to guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Legal age to serve alcohol in the United States.
• Previous bartender experience in a banquet or catering environment.
• Knowledge of standard drink recipes and beverage preparation techniques.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests during banquets, weddings, corporate events, and other catered functions.
• Set up and break down bar stations, ensuring supplies and equipment are clean and stocked.
• Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, responding to requests and providing recommendations.
• Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal alcohol service laws and hotel policies, including ID checks and monitoring guest consumption.
• Collaborate with catering and banquet staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely delivery of beverages.
• Handle cash and credit transactions accurately when applicable.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management.
• Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of bar areas during events and at closing.
