Job summary

Levy Restaurants at Soldier Field is seeking a part-time Catering Bartender to enhance group events with premium beverage service.

You will prepare a variety of beverages, operate handheld devices or POS systems, ensure responsible service, and deliver warm, professional guest interactions.

The role requires serving during evenings, weekends, and holidays; valid ServSafe and Illinois BASSET licenses are required, and you must be able to lift up to 30 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must hold current ServSafe Food Handling Certification, ServSafe Alcohol Certification, and Illinois BASSET License.
• Previous bartending experience preferred.
• Strong communication and multitasking skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (event-driven schedule).
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while ensuring compliance with alcohol service laws.
• Deliver excellent customer service, creating a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
• Use handheld devices or POS systems to accurately process guest orders and payments.
• Track beverage consumption and monitor yield throughout the event to ensure proper inventory control.
• Maintain a clean and well-stocked bar throughout the event.
• Handle all transactions accurately and responsibly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
