Job summary

Stonebridge Hospitality Management in Aurora, CO is seeking a Banquet Bartender to mix, pour, and serve beverages during events, following established guidelines and ensuring guest satisfaction while upholding safety and regulations.

The ideal candidate has banquet or event bartending experience, knowledge of drink preparation and garnishing, strong communication, cash handling skills, and familiarity with alcohol service regulations; TIPS certification is preferred or must be obtained within 30

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a bartender, preferably in a banquet or event setting.
• Knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle cash and process payments accurately.
• Familiarity with alcohol service regulations and TIPS certification (or must be obtained within 30 days of hire).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing guest needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional and courteous service to guests at all times.
• Mix, pour, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages as required by the banquet event order.
• Set up and stock bars in advance of all events with necessary beverages and supplies.
• Inventory all beverage products before and after each event for cost reconciliation.
• Secure all alcohol and equipment at the close of each event.
• Serve alcoholic beverages responsibly, ensuring compliance with legal limits.
• Collaborate with the Banquet Manager to control costs and maintain cost-to-sales ratios.
• Work with security to ensure intoxicated guests are refused additional beverage service.
• Attend department meetings and contribute to the overall success of banquet services.
