Job summary

Denú Hotel & Spa - Phoenix, AZ is hiring a Banquet Bartender through Pacific Hospitality Group. The role involves providing exceptional beverage service at banquets, meetings, weddings, and conferences, maintaining bar setups, and ensuring compliance with responsible alcohol service rules.

Ideal candidates have prior banquet/bar experience, strong customer service and communication skills, and relevant certifications.

Qualifications

Previous bartending experience in hospitality or events.
Knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, cocktails.
Alcohol service certification and food handler certification required.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes.
Provide prompt, courteous, and professional service to guests during events.
Verify guest age and ensure compliance with alcohol service laws.
Maintain knowledge of banquet beverage menus and offerings.
Monitor guest alcohol consumption and practice responsible service.
Accurately process beverage orders and cash handling when applicable.
Respond to guest requests and resolve service concerns professionally.
Set up banquet bars per event specifications and BEOs.
Ensure bars are stocked with liquor, wine, beer, mixers, garnishes, glassware, ice.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of bar areas during events.
Coordinate with banquet captains, servers, and culinary teams for seamless events.
Assist with beverage station replenishment and inventory management.
Break down bars and store equipment post-event.
Maintain inventory and report shortages to management.
