Job summary

Kodiak Area Native Association (KANA) is seeking an Event and AV Coordinator to plan, coordinate, and execute events across Kodiak locations. This role requires hands-on AV setup, on-site management, and flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities include coordinating event logistics, operating AV equipment, collaborating with departments, and representing KANA at community events. A high school diploma and AV software knowledge are preferred, with some related experience.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent and two years of relevant experience with the public.
  • Associate's degree preferred in business administration, marketing, hospitality, management, information technology, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of OBS and other AV software is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver internal and external events at KANA locations.
  • Set up and operate AV systems; provide on-site logistical support.
  • Input event details into software and coordinate with teams.
  • Prepare rooms, signage, furniture, and supplies; maintain cleanliness.
  • Restock supplies and manage inventory; coordinate with vendors.
  • Collaborate with marketing for promotions; attend events as AV lead.
