Job summary

Arizona State University’s Sun Devil Athletics seeks a part-time Event Attendant to support operations within the athletics department. Under general direction, you will provide guest services during events, promote safety, and help ensure a positive spectator experience.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or equivalent, and experience in customer service or events, with the ability to walk stairs and work outdoors in varied weather.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of customer service or event experience preferred.
• Demonstrated communication skills and ability to resolve conflicts.
• Ability to build positive working relationships.
• Decision-making skills in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Greets, directs and answers patrons' questions.
• Provides information, resolves problems and complaints of patrons.
• Collects tickets from patrons and ensures tickets are valid.
• Screens patrons and ensures prohibited items are not brought into a facility.
• Monitors entrances, aisles, tunnels and seating areas.
• Assists with crowd control and facility set-up and tear-down.
