Job summary

Arizona Athletic Grounds is seeking a part-time Custodian in Mesa, AZ to maintain cleanliness, safety, and appearance of the grounds including seating areas, concourses, restrooms, offices, and locker rooms. You will perform routine cleaning, waste removal, and minor maintenance to ensure a clean, sanitary, and welcoming environment for guests and staff.

Responsibilities include routine cleaning during events, restocking dispensers, and ensuring health and safety regulations are followed.

Qualifications

This is a customer facing role requiring courteous and pleasant responses.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies is preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Hours include most evenings and weekends, plus holidays.
Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities

Maintain multiple areas of the facility in a clean and safe condition during, before & after events.
Re-stock any dispensers.
Maintain sports flooring as needed or directed.
Remove trash and debris from containers and customer facing areas.
Check assigned area on a continuous basis.
Follow health and safety regulations.
Assist in additional duties and events as needed.
