Food + Farm Exploration Center in Plover, Wisconsin seeks a part-time event attendant to support meetings and events at our facility. You will help with setup, serving, and teardown, ensuring a positive guest experience for events ranging from 5 to 500 guests.

The role requires flexibility to work nights and weekends, strong customer service, and completion of Wisconsin alcohol seller/server course; F+FEC covers training costs.

Qualifications

• Strong multi-tasking abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent oral communication and customer service skills.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage service, including safe handling practices.
• Completion of Wisconsin Alcohol Seller/Server Course and bartending license for the Village of Plover is required. F+FEC to cover the cost of any training, exams, and licensing.
• Must be 18+ years old.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, depending on event schedules.

Responsibilities

• Assist with event setup, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and décor as needed.
• Serve food and beverages, ensuring orders are accurate and meet guest preferences.
• Clear tables and remove used dishes and glassware, when necessary, throughout the event.
• Assist with beverage service, including serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Work collaboratively with other staff and departments to ensure the event runs smoothly.
