Job summary

Curate Group is seeking a Part-Time Event Manager to support candlelit concert experiences across the Chicagoland area. You will help transform venues, lead setup, manage guest check-in, and coordinate with performers and staff to deliver magical evenings.

Ideal candidates are energetic, reliable, and customer-focused, able to manage event flow and troubleshoot on the fly. This role offers a flexible part-time schedule and mileage reimbursement for travel between venues.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lead independently and make decisions under pressure.
• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Availability on Fridays and Saturdays.
• Access to a vehicle or reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel throughout the Chicagoland area (up to ~2.5 hours).

Responsibilities

• Leading or assisting event setup and venue transformation.
• Creating the candlelit atmosphere that defines the experience.
• Managing guest check-in and seating operations.

What You'll Do

• Leading or assisting event setup and venue transformation

• Managing guest check-in and seating operations

What We're Looking For
