Job summary

Lumos Experiences, part of Curate Group, seeks an energetic Event Manager to deliver candlelit concerts across the Chicagoland area, transforming venues and guiding guests through each show. You will lead setup, coordinate with artists and venue staff, and ensure a seamless guest experience with outstanding service.

The role offers a flexible part-time schedule and mileage reimbursement opportunities. The ideal candidate is reliable, communicates well, and can travel up to 2.5 hours.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lead independently and make decisions under pressure.
• Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Availability on Fridays and Saturdays.
• Access to a vehicle or reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel throughout the Chicagoland area (up to approximately 2.5 hours when needed).

What You'll Do

As an Event Manager, you'll play a key role in bringing our concerts to life by:

• Leading or assisting event setup and venue transformation
• Creating the signature candlelit atmosphere that makes our events unforgettable
• Managing guest check-in and seating operations
• Coordinating with musicians, venue staff, and fellow team members
• Overseeing event flow from setup through breakdown
• Providing outstanding customer service and ensuring a seamless guest experience
• Troubleshooting issues with confidence, professionalism, and a positive attitude

What We're Looking For

• Strong communication and customer service skills
