Job description

Funnel Leasing Inc., is hiring for a Event and Conference Manager that can 'work from anywhere' in the U.S. The Event and Conference Manager owns Funnel’s events and conferences calendar end to end: ideation, logistics, vendor negotiation, branding, and on-site execution. This role also owns the commercial engine behind every event: partnering with SDRs and sales on targeted outreach before events, working with demand gen to make sure every lead gets the right follow-up after, and supporting ABM campaigns that turn event presence into pipeline.

Industry events in-market events and Funnel’s user conference, The Forum, drive significant portion of annual pipeline. This is a revenue-critical role, not just a logistics one. The salary range for this role is $80,000 - $95,000 per year.

Major projects this person will own and be accountable for:

  • 4 annual industry conferences with tradeshow/booth and VIP party presence
  • 1 annual user conference (The Forum)
  • 1 annual employee conference (Funnel Fest)
  • Support for up to a dozen local apartment associations, working with account reps
  • 6 in-office events (board meetings, leadership offsites, VIP meetings)
  • Regional Lunch & Learn events
  • Regional VIP events
  • LinkedIn Live events and webinars
Why Funnel?

We are a 'work from anywhere' in the U.S. SaaS company that centers our services on the renter experience. We develop amazing software that has revolutionized the #proptech industry. And did we mention we have an amazing team that is on #FunnelFire!? Oh, did we forget to tell you we have unlimited PTO, benefits that begin on your first day of employment, P.I.N.K. core values that ROCK, and our team puts the FUN in Funnel!

Who is Funnel Leasing?

Have you ever rented an apartment and wished the process could be better? At Funnel we do too. We know we need to make the process of renting an apartment as easy as purchasing socks on Amazon. We’re in the process of transforming the real estate industry through cutting-edge technology built, sold, and supported by the most passionate people you’ll meet.

  • Own outreach planning with SDRs and sales for every event: target account lists, invite cadence, and follow-up ownership before attendees ever arrive
  • Partner with demand gen on post-event follow-up so every lead gets the right next step, fast
  • Support ABM campaigns tied to (and independent of) events: account selection, personalized outreach, and executive experiences for top targets
  • Work with sales to confirm the right people are being invited and shown up for, not just headcount
  • Share attendee lists, overview decks, and other pertinent event information with internal stakeholders
  • Track and report event and campaign ROI: pipeline sourced and influenced, cost per lead, follow-up conversion, to continuously improve strategy
  • Stay current on industry trends, market dynamics, and buyer behavior to keep event strategy sharp

  • A team player. You collaborate daily with Marketing, Sales, SDRs, Demand Gen, Product, and other teams, and can work across a range of disciplines to get things done.
  • Trendsetter. You push the status quo and look for a better way to improve Funnel’s buyer journey. You keep up to date with others pushing boundaries.

  • Exposure to ABM strategy and execution a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a track record working cross-functionally, especially with sales and SDR teams
  • Excellent presentation skills, both virtual and in-person
  • Proven track record of running events that produce pipeline, not just attendance
