Job summary

All Family Connections, LLC is seeking a compassionate Respite Worker to provide high-quality care for youth with developmental disabilities in the evenings and on weekends. You will provide direct supervision, engage in age-appropriate activities, and support families in their home or community settings.

The role requires reliability, strong communication, and the ability to follow care plans. Experiences with DD, CPR/First Aid certification preferred; background checks are required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or youth with developmental disabilities preferred.
• Must be reliable, patient, and adaptable.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow care plans.
• Must pass background checks and meet state requirements for respite care providers.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Related education or training in special education, psychology, social work, or related field is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision and care to youth ages 4-20 with developmental disabilities.
• Engage youth in age-appropriate, safe, and enriching activities.
• Support daily living tasks as needed (e.g., meals, hygiene routines, transitions).
• Ensure a safe, supportive, and respectful environment.
• Communicate effectively with families and program staff.
• Maintain documentation and reports as required.
