Job summary

Amazing Home Care Providers, LLC is seeking a Weekend Youth Behavioral Health Respite Aide to support youth in community and home settings. You will take youths into libraries, parks, community centers and other approved outings, provide a safe, supportive environment, and document activities in a brief service note.

The ideal candidate is dependable, patient, energetic and comfortable working with youth with behavioral, emotional, or developmental needs. Weekend availability required.

Qualifications

• Be 18 years of age or older.
• Have a high school diploma or GED.
• Successfully complete required background and reference checks.
• Have reliable transportation.
• Have a valid driver's license and current automobile insurance when driving is required.
• Have or be willing to obtain CPR, AED, and First Aid certification.
• Be dependable and maintain consistent attendance.
• Be comfortable working in home and community-based settings.
• Maintain confidentiality and appropriate professional boundaries.
• Be available to work every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Taking the youth into the community for activities such as the library, community center, park, YMCA, Chuckie Cheese, recreation, arts and crafts, exercise, community center, or other approved outings.
• Maintaining a safe and supportive environment throughout the visit.
• Completing a brief service note documenting the activities, support provided, and the youth's participation.
