Job summary

Qualifications

• Twelve (12) months of direct care experience is preferred.
• CPR certification or the ability to obtain CPR within the first 60 days of employment.
• If transporting patients, valid Texas driver license or ability to obtain it within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care under the clinical supervision of a Registered Nurse in an inpatient setting.
• Assist with activities of daily living, hygiene, and eating to promote independence.
• Observe, report, and document patient conditions and behaviors in the electronic record.
• Participate in shift reports and recovery team meetings; support treatment plans.
• Assist with medication administration monitoring vital signs and related tasks.
• Promote safety and facilitate patient engagement and recovery activities.
