Job summary

Buckeye Valley Family YMCA in Newark, OH seeks an Entry Level Part-Time Facility Attendant to monitor the facility and serve as a friendly ambassador for the organization during all hours.

You will provide excellent customer service, maintain safety, assist with tours and respond to emergencies per protocol, while helping with daily cleanup and reporting maintenance issues. CPR/First Aid are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Strong communication skills (verbal, written, interpersonal).
• General computer knowledge and ability to use basic software.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to members, guests, and participants to support retention.
• Monitor the facility to ensure a safe environment including pools, locker rooms, and basketball courts; report maintenance needs.
• Provide facility tours to prospective members and assist with questions.
• Respond to emergencies according to protocol and complete incident reports.
• Assist in keeping the facility clean and safe.
