Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking a Cleaner, On Call- Evenings to maintain cleanliness in facilities under the supervision of the Custodial Manager. Responsibilities include sweeping, mopping, cleaning bathrooms, restocking supplies, and reporting issues.

This role requires little to no prior experience, the ability to take direction, and work well in a team. Training provided; compensation ranges from $18.70 to $20.00 per hour with standard benefits and equal opportunity employer statements.

Qualifications

• Basic cleaning responsibilities require no previous experience.
• Must be able to take direction, work with minimal supervision, and function as part of a team.
• Ability to use cleaning tools and equipment.
• Use a portable vacuum cleaner – backpack style.
• Requires attention to detail, pride in delivering excellent service, organization, and endurance.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and wash floors, and other surfaces (inside buildings).
• Use light and heavy (commercial type) floor buffers and shampoo machines including attachments.
• Vacuum rugs in offices and public areas; spot clean daily and shampoo rugs when directed.
• Clean windowsills; glass in interior doors, partitions, and specified windows.
• Wash bathrooms and restock paper supplies daily.
• Monitor defects such as clogged urinals and lights out, and report to supervisors.
• Collect building trash daily and place in designated area for removal.
• Replace liners in waste baskets and trash containers per specs.
• High dusting, leather and wood surfaces, polishing, wall washing periodically.
• Any and all other duties as assigned.
