Job summary

Carlton Shores Health & Rehab Center in Daytona Beach, FL, seeks an Evening Supervisor RN/LPN to oversee residents and supervise the nursing team. You will assess needs, develop care plans, administer nursing care, and supervise CNAs and staff to ensure high-quality sub-acute care.

Ideal candidates hold a current Florida RN or LPN license, with 1–3 years of supervisory experience and strong communication skills for a fast-paced facility committed to compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse or LPN with current Florida license.
• 1–3 years related experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Proven work experience as a nursing supervisor.
• Team management skills and strong communication abilities.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and participate in process improvements to enhance resident care and workflow.
• Complete assessments of residents at admission and discharge.
• Supervise nursing staff and allocate duties to LPNs and CNAs as directed.
• Document services rendered for billing and care records.
• Make daily rounds to monitor resident care and status.
• Implement nursing policies and educate staff according to guidelines.
• Review charting weekly for accuracy and completeness.
• Maintain a safe environment, following infection control procedures.
• Respond to staffing shortages by arranging replacements.
• Track infection control and care trends for proactive improvement.
• Handle other special projects and duties as assigned.
