Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or Sciences is required.
• Master’s degree in Medical Technology preferred.
• Certification for Medical Technologist (MLS/ASCP or MT ASCP) or AMT or MT (AAB) is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive specimens and ensure correct identification.
• Determine suitability of specimens for testing.
• Prepare and acquire/replenish reagents as needed.
• Perform instrument maintenance and calibration.
