Job summary

MultiCare Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup seeks a Medical Technologist to perform patient analytic laboratory testing, quality control, data analysis and instrument maintenance across multiple campuses.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or Sciences, ASCP MLS/MT or AMT certification, and a Master’s degree is preferred. The position offers an evening shift with 10-hour shifts and a float premium eligibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or Sciences is required.
• Master's degree in Medical Technology is preferred.
• Certification for Medical Technologist (MLS/MT) or AMT or MT (AAB) is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive specimens and establish positive identification.
• Determine suitability of specimens.
• Prepare/acquire reagents as needed.
• Perform instrument maintenance and calibration.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or Sciences

Master's degree in Medical Technology (preferred)
