Job summary

Endeavor Health in Elmhurst, IL seeks a Supervisor for Sterile Processing to lead the department during the evenings. You will ensure sterile processing operations, maintain adequate sterilized product supply for OR and units, and supervise support staff.

Required are a high school diploma or GED, CBSPD or HSPA certification, and 3 years SPD with 1 year supervisory experience (5 years SPD preferred). Evening hours and full-time/part-time options apply.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED required.
• College Degree preferred.
• CBSPD or HSPA certification required. Obtain Certified Endoscope Reprocessing certification within 6 months.
• Three years' SPD experience with one year supervisory experience; five years' SPD experience.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the sterile processing function of the Sterile Processing Department.
• Maintain and provide an adequate supply of sterilized products for the OR, nursing units, and other departments.
• Oversees and evaluates the performance of all support positions in the department.
