Job summary

Endeavor Health in Elmhurst, IL is seeking a Supervisor of Sterile Processing for the evening shift. This position offers either full-time or part-time status with a 40-hour work week and a 3:00pm–11:30pm schedule.

You will lead the Sterile Processing Department, maintain adequate sterilized products for the OR and nursing units, and oversee department staff. A CBSPD or HSPA certification is required, with certification within 6 months of starting, and a HS diploma minimum with college degree

Qualifications

• Requires High school Diploma or GED; College Degree preferred.
• Certification: CBSPD or HSPA required.
• Obtain Certified Endoscope Reprocessing Certification within 6 months of accepting position.
• Three years’ SPD experience with one year supervisory experience; Five years SPD experience overall.

• Responsible for the sterile processing function of the Sterile Processing Department.
• Maintain an adequate supply of sterilized products for the OR, nursing units, and other departments.
• Oversees and evaluates the performance of all support positions in the department.

Hourly Pay Range: $27.14 - $40.71 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Supervisor – Sterile Processing - Evenings Position Highlights:

• Position: Supervisor, Sterile Processing
• Location: Elmhurst, IL
• Full Time/Part Time: 40 hours per week

What you will need:

• License: N/A
• Education: High school Diploma or GED required, College Degree Preferred.
• Certification: Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) or Healthcare Sterile Processing Association (HSPA) required.
• Obtain Certified Endoscope Reprocessing Certification within 6 months of accepting position.
• Experience: Three years’ experience in SPD with one year supervisory experience.
• Five years’ experience in SPD
