Temple University Hospital is seeking a Patient Care Assistant for 6 East Med/Surg Pulmonary. This full-time position offers an evenings shift from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM with every-other weekend and holidays as required.

The role provides direct and indirect patient care under the guidance of a Registered Nurse, including vital signs, ECGs, and activities of daily living while ensuring patient safety and confidentiality.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• Certified Nursing Assistant or Certified Medical Assistant preferred.

Aufgaben

• Provide direct and indirect patient care under RN supervision.
• Record and monitor vital signs; perform ECGs; assist with daily living activities.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort and confidentiality in line with hospital policies.
• Report changes in patient condition to the Nurse Manager or designee.
