Job summary

Commonwealth Health is seeking a CT technologist for Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. The role is full-time with evening shifts, and the position offers a $15K sign-on bonus.

The CT technologist performs CT procedures, produces sectional and 3D images, and ensures image quality while maintaining equipment sterility and readiness. The ideal candidate has CT certification, radiography competency, and at least two years of staff technologist experience; cross-training may be provided.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiology program (hospital-based or college).
• Advanced training and CT certification required.
• Two or more years' staff technologist experience preferred; CT cross-training available at Directors' discretion.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT procedures producing sectional and 3D images for interpretation.
• Ensures high-quality images and maintains equipment sterility and readiness.
• Monitors patients and acts in emergencies; applies radiation safety practices.
