Job summary

Aspiranet is hiring a Support Counselor in Santa Cruz, CA to provide direct support to youth and caregivers within a CSU setting. You will implement individualized care plans, promote healing, and facilitate age-appropriate activities while ensuring safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 2+ years of behavioral health experience.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
• Meets all agency, funder, and regulatory employment requirements.
• DOJ fingerprint and Child Abuse Index clearance, TB/Health physical, CA Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Meet with youth and caregivers per program requirements and implement care plans.
• Document timely notes and maintain compliance with standards and HIPAA.
• Coordinate with supervisors and team members; report incidents promptly.
• Engage in professional interactions, maintain boundaries, and support trauma-informed care.
