Job summary

Little Flower Children and Family Services of New York is seeking Full-Time Youth Development Counselors to supervise children in a residential setting. Positions require availability Tuesday-Saturday from 3 PM to 11 PM, providing a meaningful opportunity to improve the well-being of youth.

Successful candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, experience with adolescents, and a valid NYS driver's license. Compensation starts at $18.00/hour, with salary based on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in handling groups of children and teens, preferably in a residential setting.
• Ability to participate in mandated initial TCI training during weekday evenings upon hire.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily activities of children under agency care.
• Ensure rules and procedures are followed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the cottage.
• Prepare and supervise meals when needed.
• Document resident activity during shifts.
