Job summary

Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a skilled X-Ray Technologist to join our interventional pain management team in a part-time evening role. The position involves performing radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations during precision pain management procedures and requires strong clinical judgment and strict radiation safety practices.

You will collaborate with physicians to ensure efficient room turnaround and compassionate, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) Required.
• Valid X-RAY Tech license by the State of NY.
• OHS Annual Assessment & OHS Fit Test Required.
• Covering 2 MMG sites: Bronx East and Cross County.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic examinations during pain management interventional procedures.
• Maintains accurate records of films and fluoro time.
• Ensures radiation safety and patient identification procedures are followed.
• Assists with contrast materials, syringes and injection equipment.
• Trains students and associates.
• Maintains cleanliness and safety of the clinical area.
