Job summary

Conagra Brands in Kent, WA is hiring a production associate to support wrapping and packaging lines. You will monitor conveyors, adjust wrapping speeds, operate centerline settings, and help maintain product quality and safety standards.

This role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and willingness to work overtime including weekends in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, with a base hourly rate plus a $1.50 shift differential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Experience in manufacturing or production preferred.
• Understanding of Safety, Food Safety (SQF), and GMP.
• Ability to work safely around moving equipment and machinery.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced production environment.
• Must be able to work overtime and on weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the flow of products on a waist-high conveyor and stack in correct quantities.
• Monitor and adjust wrapping machine speed for efficiency.
• Operate and maintain centerline settings to meet standards.
• Troubleshoot wrapping machinery to minimize downtime.
• Remove defective products from the line.
• Review production orders and wrap products per requirements.
• Perform minor maintenance on wrapping equipment with hand tools.
• Tally and record units wrapped, size, weight, and line checks.
• Maintain a clean work area with approved cleaners.
• Collaborate with departments to support production demand.
• Report food safety concerns to authorized personnel.
