Job summary

Cooper Electric Supply, LLC, part of the Sonepar group, is hiring for a distribution center role in Cranbury, NJ. The position focuses on reviewing tickets, selecting wire sizes, measuring and cutting to spec, labeling, and replenishing wire stock while maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Responsibilities include unloading reels, loading new reels, and following SOPs and OSHA standards in a fast-paced environment. Benefits are provided with full-time employment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.
• Attention to detail and good time management skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to prioritize needs in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to exercise safety while carrying out all job responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Review customer ticket and accurately determine appropriate size reel and type, size and color of wire needed to complete order.
• Correctly measure and cut wire to customer specifications.
• Properly label all completed wire cuts with applicable information, including customer label.
• Unload empty reels and reload new reels onto wire machine
• Restock and replenish wire on wire cutting racks
• Maintain organization and housekeeping of wire room area
• Maintain a clean and safe working area
• Operate within standard operating procedures (SOPs) and OSHA safety standards
• Other duties as assigned
