Job summary

Monarch Communities is seeking a Wellness Nurse (LPN) to provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise day-to-day nursing activities performed by CNAs. The role emphasizes holistic wellness and aligns with state regulations within a senior living community.

The position requires an LPN license, strong multitasking ability, and experience with dementia care; the role operates 3–11p with hourly pay between $30 and $34.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing with a current LPN license.
• At least 2 years’ experience in long-term care, assisted living, home health, or hospital settings.
• Experience with residents with Alzheimer’s or related dementias.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Knowledge of federal and state nursing regulations and practices applicable to health and wellness residents.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to learn new applications.
• Ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs and perform intermittent physical activity.

Responsibilities

• Monitors the health, safety, and well-being of all residents.
• Assists in training and monitoring of medication administration.
• Supervise care staff in accordance with current state regulations and community policies.
• Maintains clinical quality assurance per federal, state, and local standards.
• Promotes the highest degree of service to residents while upholding the company mission.
• Conduct thorough resident assessments.
