Job summary

Ferguson is seeking a Welder for our Brookshire, TX facility. You will weld outlets onto steel pipe for fire sprinkler systems, perform spool pieces and flanges, and maintain a clean, safe welding station to meet quality standards.

The work schedule is Monday–Friday, 2pm–10:30pm with overtime as required. Starting pay is $31.50 per hour, with a wage range reflecting local requirements up to $37.50.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of welding experience preferred, with capability to weld outlets onto pipe.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to prioritize workload to meet timelines.

Responsibilities

• Weld outlets onto steel pipe for fire sprinkler systems.
• Perform spool pieces, flanges, and related welding tasks.
• Inspect work for defects, dimensions, and alignment.
• Maintain a clean, safe welding station and follow quality standards.
• Report equipment malfunctions and safety issues.
