Ferguson Enterprises, Inc. is seeking a Fabrication Associate to join our Brookshire, TX team.

The role involves setting up and maintaining shop machines for pipe fabrication, measuring lengths, and assisting with pipe assembly and handling in the yard. You will work Monday through Friday with overtime as required, starting pay $25.00 per hour for the day shift and $26.50 per hour for the evening shift, with safety and OSHA guidelines as a priority.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of fabrication experience preferred.
• Outstanding math skills and the ability to calculate product quantities on hand.
• Experience operating machinery for cutting and threading pipe per OSHA regulations preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced customer service environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain machines in the shop for pipe fabrication.
• Accurately measure, record, and add random pipe length.
• Measure and cut pipe with band saw and/or torch; roll and groove random lengths; thread and bevel pipe with Landis machines.
• Move loose and/or bundled pipe within the pipe yard.
• Assemble pipe orders, single sticks or bundles, and keep supplies organized.
• Follow safety precautions for fabrication, cutting, assembly, stacking and shipping of pipe.
