Job summary

Kona Grill Idaho is seeking a friendly server to provide outstanding guest service in a busy dining room. You will take orders, describe menu items, and deliver food and beverages promptly.

The role requires excellent communication, teamwork, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment; applicants should be 18+, with prior restaurant experience preferred, and be available evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• Previous Server or restaurant experience preferred.
• Reading, writing, basic math and effective communication skills required.
• English language and professional communications skills are required.
• Ability to work in a team environment; fast-paced setting.
• Available to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service by engaging the guest, describing food/beverage, taking orders, efficiently delivering food and accepting payment
• Inform guests of specials and/or promotions, answer questions and make suggestions when asked
• Use up-selling techniques with every guest to enhance dining experience
• Address guest concerns and inform manager
• Assist in keeping the restaurant clean and safe
