Virginia Beach City Public Schools is seeking a part-time ALC Security Assistant to help safeguard students, staff and property during evening and Saturday shifts at the Adult Learning Center.

Under the Director and Office of Security and Emergency Management, you will screen visitors, monitor entrances, respond to incidents, assist with drills, and maintain accurate reports while meeting certification requirements.

Competenze

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Some security experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Arrive on time and monitor school, grounds, and parking areas.
• Screen and sign-in visitors as required.
• Deter unauthorized access and report suspicious conditions.
• Assist with drills and emergency evacuations.
• Support administrators and evening registrars or Saturday staff.
• Inform administration of concerns and participate in training.
• Attend TEA-related duties and maintain accurate reports.
