Job summary

Lineage Health Care Consulting in West Chicago, Illinois, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for part-time 12-hour shifts. You will provide direct nursing care to residents, supervise nursing assistants, and maintain a calm, positive environment.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered license to practice as an RN or LPN in Illinois.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Ability to make independent decisions and be knowledgeable of nursing practices and procedures.
• Current CPR Certification required.
• Experience in Long Term Care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute day-to-day functions of RN/LPN and plan services with assigned staff.
• Admit, transfer, discharge residents; provide leadership and complete required records.
• Administer medications and perform routine charting per policies and procedures.
• Develop and maintain good working relationships and create a positive environment throughout the unit.
