Job summary

Victory Bay is seeking a Peer Recovery Specialist to supervise safety, sobriety, and transportation for clients in various treatment stages. You will monitor daily schedules, transport clients to facilities and back, conduct intake tasks, issue shift-change reports, and help maintain professional boundaries and accountability.

You will also run ancillary groups, input group notes into KIPU, assist with medications, and collaborate with staff to support relapse prevention.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in a drug/alcohol treatment facility preferred.
• CPR certification preferred; Narcan training and Peer Recovery Specialist certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and direct daily client schedule to ensure attendance at treatments and activities.
• Transport clients per guidelines and GPS monitoring.
• Monitor clients for intoxication and administer urine analysis and breathalyzer as scheduled.
• Complete shift-change reports and intake paperwork; report to supervisor.
• Maintain and secure company keys; facilitate group sessions and appointments as needed.
• Assist with medication self-administration and run ancillary groups; document notes in KIPU.
• Provide professional, boundary-respecting interactions and assist with department needs.
