Qualifications

• Completion of a specialty radiology-training program is required.
• Must possess Radiological Technologist license within 12 months of hire.
• Registered in Radiography by the ARRT within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Receives patients for Radiology examinations.
• Generates daily schedule for all modalities.
• Verifies patients order and tracks patients in RIS system.
• Checks critical results and communicates as necessary.
• Obtains images under direct supervision of registered technologist.

Skills

Ability to interact positively with patients

Ability to prioritize and manage multiple situations

Ability to improvise with altered positioning techniques

Education

Completion of one year of specialty radiology-training program

Radiological Technologist license through the West Virginia Board

Registered in Radiography by the ARRT
