Job summary

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy Technician certificate preferred.
• Without certificate, hospital or major lab training completed.
• 2 years proven phlebotomy experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Accurately identify patients and prepare for specimen collection.
• Assemble supplies and perform venipuncture according to standards.
• Accurately identify priorities (Stat, timed, routine).
• Label tubes correctly and send to testing labs.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and safety standards.
