Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Accurately identify patients using wristbands or documents.
• Assemble supplies and equipment for specimen collection.
• Draw blood using proper techniques and ensure sample quality.
• Label tubes correctly and deliver to testing areas.
• Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality.
• Follow safety procedures and dispose of sharps properly.
• Monitor patient reactions and provide aftercare education.
