Job summary

City of Appleton is hiring a part-time Parking Ramp Attendant to handle cleaning, maintenance and guest assistance in the City's parking ramps. The role is evenings and weekends, temporary June to early September, with moderate supervision by the Parking Utility Manager.

Responsibilities include debris removal, floor cleaning, window washing, lobby and stairway upkeep, helping guests enter/exit and navigate ramps during events, and casual cashiering at events.

Qualifications

• Custodial or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds and work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Removes debris in parking ramps.
• Cleans ramp floors with brooms/mops.
• Cleans lobbies, stairways, elevators and high-traffic areas.
• Washes interior and exterior windows of ramps.
• Provides customer assistance at ramp entrances/exits, including navigation.
• Cashier during special events.
• Monitors facilities and reports damage or prohibited activities.
• Maintains punctual attendance and may work overtime.
• Works independently during daytime weekend hours.
